These vintage semi-porcelain, ironstone bowls are just adorable. They were made by Johnson Brothers in England and feature a delicate blue floral design.
These bowls are late 19th to early 20th century pieces. They have crazing and one bowl is more yellowed than the other. Given their age, they are in beautiful condition with lots of character from the aging process.
I’m not sure what they were used for. They could have been used as relish, sauce or gravy bowls. It’s fun to imagine how someone may have displayed them on their table over 100 years ago.
They measure about 5.7” x 4.25” in size. Treasured finds from days gone by!
This sale is for a set of two bowls.
