Details
This large Johnson Brothers Royal Ironstone China pitcher is stunning. It features their embossed wheat pattern and florals with a pretty scalloped edge along the pitcher’s rim. It has a spray of wheat at the base of the handle and also along the handle’s curve. The wheat and floral embossed pattern runs around the neck of the pitcher and wheat spills down either side.
It measures 11” tall by 9” wide from handle to spout tip. It has a small chip on the outside edge of its rim near the spout tip with a hairline crack that runs from the chip to the inside rim edge as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it’s in nice condition with a beautiful glossy finish. It’s a heavy piece weighing over 3 lbs.
This collectible piece would be a nice addition to any ironstone collection or when displayed with other vintage or farmhouse decor. It would also be pretty when filled with flowers for tabletop or counter decor.
