This is a beautiful J&G Meakin chunky ironstone platter with blue-gray leaf design. It has elegant scalloped edges and measures about 15.75” by 12” in size.
It’s design is called “Cashmere” and was made in Hanley, England in the early 1900s to mid-century. It has been well loved with one tiny chip along the rim as shown in photos and a few pitted marks on the backside. It’s a beautiful collectible piece of ironstone and a nice addition to your collection.
