Own a stunning Jean Pouyat Limoges France porcelain bowl. These absolutely beautiful bowls were made by J. Pouyat, a significant French porcelain manufacturer who established his renowned factory in 1842. Pouyat became famous for his high-quality, hand-painted decorative porcelain, especially dinnerware. JP stands as French porcelain excellence. These bowls were made in the late 19th, early 20th century. They are well loved and are in very good condition. I could not feel or see any chips.
J. Pouyat’s pieces symbolized French luxury and refinement. His pieces were often featured in international exhibits and today, they still draw interest for their historical authenticity.
These bowls feature beautiful florals, a scalloped rim and gold gild accents along the rim. Each has a maker’s mark on the back as shown in the photos. They measure about 9.5” in diameter by 1.75” tall.
