This beautiful ironstone floral platter from the past is heavily crazed and stained on the front and back. I love the stains and crazing as it takes years to achieve this characteristic look naturally. It is very “yellowed” in color and features pink rose florals with green and gray leaves. It has a single green stripe that runs around the platter’s rim.
It measures about 15.5” by 12” and is very nice vintage condition. There are a few tiny flea bites you feel along its rim when you run your fingers around it, but no significant chips. It has no maker’s mark, so I don’t know who made it. But, oh the stories it could tell if only it could talk.
