Beautiful vintage teapot serving or display base riser made by Warwick China in the early 1900’s. Warwick China was a pottery company from Wheeling, West Virginia and operated from 1887 to 1951.
This piece measures 6.5” in diameter and is .75” tall. It features Warwick’s popular pink flowers with green leaves pattern. It has an embossed and scalloped rim. It was originally trimmed in gold around the base, but much of this gold trim is worn away from age and usage. It is in nice condition with no chips or repairs. I was told that it was used as a decorative base for teapots.
I’ve added a glass 5.5” tall cloche to this vintage base. You can use it to display a well loved collectible inside the cloche. It makes a pretty tabletop or shelf display.
This sale is for the glass cloche and vintage teapot base. Other items shown in photos are for display and are not included in this sale.
