What an amazing find! This vintage Duck decoy was handmade from solid wood. It was originally a white duck with black tail, but due to its age, the paint is beautifully worn and Chippy. It has an eye hook on the front bottom where a string or rope was attached to pull or tie the duck in place. It measures approximately 16” long by nearly 11” wide by 10” tall to top of the duck’s head. Some of the wood is worn smooth, especially around the head.
Due to its age and usage, you can expect this piece to have Chippy paint, natural wood cracks, discoloration, and other age-related characteristics.
This is a beautiful collectible and is a perfect shelf top decor. You can add florals or other decor to its base. It is a nice addition to cab8n or farmhouse decor too. So many ways to display this treasure!
