Sugar Bowl Buffalo China Blue Florals Restaurant Ware Large Rare Find

Details

This is a hard to find ironstone Buffalo China sugar bowl with lid. I love its crazing and stained finish that naturally comes with age.
This piece features blue floral accents and gold gilt trim on an ivory base. Some of the gold has worn away from age and usage.
Buffalo made durable restaurant and hotel China. I’m guessing this sugar bowl was made for hotels given its dainty floral and gold design.
It measures approximately 7” wide from handle to handle and is nearly 6” tall. It’s a fairly large sugar bowl.
It is marked Buffalo China on the bottom and is in very good condition with no chips. Its character crazing and staining attest to its age.
An absolutely beautiful piece of hotel ware history and a nice collectible piece.
