Details
This set of two butter or side plates were made by Knowles Taylor & Knowles in East Liverpool, Ohio in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. (1854-1931).
These small, 4.5” in diameter plates were placed on the table with individual servings of bread, desserts and sides. The staining and crazing is simply beautiful and takes years to achieve naturally. One plate has more staining than the other, but both are beauties with no chips. They have their maker’s mark on the base.
They will be a beautiful treasured addition to someone’s ironstone collection.
This sale is for two 4.5” side plates.
