Details

This is an antique ironstone platter made by A.J. Wilkinson in the late 19th to early 20th century. It was made in England.
It has an oval shape with scalloped edge and a delicate floral Transferware pattern.
It measures approximately 16.25” long by 11.5” wide.
This platter is more than 100 years old and has been well loved. It is beautifully stained on the front and is crazed all over. It has no chips, but the backside has a few pitted areas as shown in the photos. It also has age spots and gray marks around the rim from usage. You may feel a few flea bites along the rim as well. It also has a maker’s mark on the backside. Amazing that it has survived all of these years. It will be a beautiful addition to any ironstone collection.
