This is a lot of 12 beautiful medals dating back to the 1960s, maybe even a little older (please ignore the numbers shown in the photos as we’ve decided to sell them as a lot of 12).
They came from the private collection of a priest who left many treasures in a storage unit that were auctioned. Some are aged metal and others are aluminum. When they were found, the priest had carefully wrapped each medal in a paper envelope. These envelopes were disintegrating from age.
The medals feature Christ, Saints, Mary and other designs. Both sides of each medal have a design as shown in the photos.
Each has a ring for hanging from a necklace. These medals are sold as a lot of twelve. The last photo includes a penny to give you an idea of the size of these treasured metals.
