Details
These beautiful bread boards were inspired by pieces used during the late 1800s to early 1900s in the cottages and farmhouses of the English countryside. Back then these bread boards were used to slice bread and as a centerpiece for gathering around the family table. They symbolized daily life where bread was the heart of every meal.
These boards are modern interpretations (not vintage) that preserve the heritage and history of the original boards. Each board is carved from real wood and is carefully finished by hand. No two boards are exactly alike as the natural variations in each piece of wood ensure that every piece is a one-of-a-kind bread board. And they are quite heavy, given they are made from real wood.
This board measures 12ā by 12ā by 1.2ā in size. This sale is for one bread board.
You can use it for bread, cheese and crackers or hang it on a wall as decor. It has a metal hanger on the back side.
Please note that during the engraving process, each board is rotated on a wheel using a center point. Because of this, a unique circle will be present in the center. This is part of the crafting process and is not a defect.
