This vintage Brush McCoy pitcher is heavily stained and crazed from age. It’s a beauty!
It features a molded scene in a circular frame with a bear in its natural landscape on both sides of the pitcher.
This pitcher has light and dark beige variations in color due to staining. I photographed a few photos on white tissue paper to give you an idea of the stain variations. I love stained pieces, so this one is simply beautiful to me.
It’s in very good condition with no chips. Just stains and crazing. It’s been well loved over the years.
McCoy designed this pitcher in a traditional, sturdy stoneware style. It measures approximately 8.5” from outside handle to spout tip and about 4” wide. It stands about 7.25” tall.
I see quite a few of these pitchers with the yellow glaze, but I haven’t seen many with the off-white, beige glaze. Nor have I seen them with this amount of staining.
A beautiful piece for someone’s collection. 😊
