This is a beautiful vintage hand-painted wooden devotional statue of Infant Jesus of Prague (also known as the Santo Nino de Prada). It is identified by its imperial crown, the glorious crucifer (orb) held in his left hand, and his right hand raised in a gesture of blessing.
This statue has no maker’s mark, but could possibly have been made in Italy.
It’s in very good condition with no broken pieces. It has nice color and Jesus has eyelashes like you would see on an old doll.
It measures approximately 4” wide at the widest point and stands 8” tall.
It’s a beautiful collectible and devotional piece.
