Schmid Bros. Madonna and Baby Jesus Paper Mache Gold Vintage Figurine

Details

This is a vintage paper mache Madonna with Baby Jesus from the 1950s. It is marked Schmid Bros. and Made in Japan on the sticker on its base.
This pretty piece is hand-painted in gold. It’s in nice vintage condition with only a few spots that have chipped or missing paint. The back side base has small chips at the bottom of the base corners. And the Madonna has areas where the gold is missing from her veil. But overall, this piece is in good condition with nice color.
It measures approximately 4.5” wide by 4” deep by 8.5” tall.
