This small 4.8” blue and white transferware dish or bowl is a souvenir depicting the historic 9th century Carolingien Oratory in France. It is marked Gien France on its base.
This church is one of the oldest surviving churches in the country, built around 806 AD.
This souvenir trinket dish features an illustration of the church in a blue and white transferware pattern. It measures about 4.8” in diameter.
