Vintage Catholic Rosary Pearlescent Twin Hearts Devotion Jesus Mary

This beautiful vintage rosary is unlike a standard Scapular Medal which usually pairs the Sacred Heart of Jesus with Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This rosary features a Twin Hearts devotion, also known as the Alliance of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
This rosary has white pearlescent or opal oval beads, a silver tone crucifix inscribed with “INRI” and a heart shaped center medal.
It measure approximately 22.5” in length. It was made during the mid-century, likely between the 1950s and 60s. The specific style of the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart pairing on the heart centerpiece was highly favored during the 1950 Marian Year revival, which sparked a massive global wave of home rosary devotions.
This vintage Catholic rosary will make a nice addition to any collection.
