This is a beautiful vintage lithograph print of the Virgin Mary, likely created by artist Warner Sallman around 1948.
It was produced and assembled by Fleck Brothers, a popular framing and fine art print company in New York City.
The backing strongly aligns with the 1948 Warner Sallman “Madonna” print timeline, proving that this is the original frame pairing exactly as it was sold decades ago.
The print has some brown spots from age and the frame has a few scuffs as shown in the photos. The round, oval wooden frame from Fleck Bros. is harder to come by than standard rectangular formats, making this piece a bit more desirable for vintage collectors. There is no glass covering this portrait.
This portrait with frame measures about 9.75” wide by 11.5” tall.
This is a nice collectible religious portrait from almost 80 years ago. It’s a beautiful piece of art.
