Details
This is a vintage silver-plated oval serving tray featuring delicate etched leaf patterns and a textured beaded rim. It is adorned with leaf garland that swoops around the inside edge of the tray. I could not find a maker’s mark.
It measures about 12” x 5.5” in size.
It has tarnish, dark spots and scratches from age and usage as shown in the photos. But, what a beauty it is.
It was probably used to serve bread and rolls at the dinner table. It’s a nice piece of etched hollowware from the past.
