This beautiful heart has been hand-crafted in Haiti by artist Brutus Wiseton, a man of great heart. He and his wife have three sons and one baby daughter. His dream is that all of his children have the opportunity to complete school, something he was unable to accomplish himself. He benefits directly from his own hard work and the art he sells.
This heart is created from recycled steel oil drums and is hand-shaped using traditional Haitian metalworking techniques. It has been hand-punched using only a hammer and chisel.
This heart measures about 11” by 11” in size.
