This is a vintage Italian brown scapular featuring devotional images of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Simon Stock.
In the images, Our Lady of Mount Carmel is holding the Christ Child and the second panel is Saint Simon Stock receiving the scapular.
These are small, mini devotion cards enclosed in plastic sleeves attached with a brown cord.
Brown scapulars are a traditional Catholic sacrament associated with the Carmelite order and promises of spiritual protection.
Total cord length with cards is about 20”. The devotion cards measure about 1” by 1.5”.
A nice addition to any vintage religious collection.
