This is a pre-war Maruyama Toki Fox hunting figurine from the 1920s to 1930s. The backstamp confirms its maker as Maruyama Toki under the direction of Yamashiro Ryuhei.
Because its stamp reads, “Made in Japan” rather than “Made in Occupied Japan”, it is likely a pre-war export piece from the Interwar period.
It is in very good condition with no chips. It measures about 4.5” long by 1.75” deep by 2.75” tall.
It’s a nice equestrian themed collectible and a highly historical piece from the 1920s and 30s export era.
