Details
This is a Beautiful English flow blue plate with florals. It was made by the Grimwade Brothers in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England between 1897 and 1900, just before the company transitioned into a limited corporation at the turn of the century.
It features a blue Victorian pattern and measures about 7.5” in diameter. It was probably used as a salad plate and is from the Grimwades Tyrol pattern.
I have two available and they are sold individually in the drop-down menu.
Both are in good condition with no chips. You may find tiny brown age spots and pitted areas on the back side from these 125 year old plates. They appear to have had gold trim around the rim, but it is pretty much worn away.
This plate makes a nice addition to any flow blue collection.
